Where’s the Rain?
Where's the rain? There’s been no rain for weeks in South West Florida and none on the horizon. What about your plants? How do your plants do in oppressive heat and no rain? Selecting the right plants for our climate is key to having a successful FL landscape. Drought tolerant plants are key. Using plants that can thrive in little to no rain and/or no irrigation is key. When the temps are 90+ it's hard on our landscaping even with rain and irrigation. These are just a few of my favorite drought tolerant plants. I would add Thyrallis, Firespike, Dessert Rose, Banana Tree, Dombeya and so many more to the list.
